I was trying out a water color ground on a piece on wood. The final result were disappointing to me. You can see the result in the second image here.

Does someone have a tip on how to preserve to wood grain while using the watercolor base?

J’essayais une nouvelle base pour faire de l’aquarelle sur du bois. Le résultat final m’apparaisait comme décevant. Vous pouvez voir le résultat final dans les images d’aujourd’hui.

Est-se que quelqu’un connait une bonne méthode pour bien voir le grain du bois malgré l’utilisation du médium à aquarelle?
